HK security chief queried over ‘blacklists’
Wan Chai district councillor Michael Mak Kwok-fung of the League of Social Democrats has written to security chief Ambrose Lee Siu-kwong to ask whether there was a blacklist barring certain visitors from entering Hong Kong. It comes after Mr Mak and fellow league member Chan Cheong were denied entry to Macau on Monday. He also asked Mr Lee to seek an explanation from Macau authorities over the pair’s denied entry and asked whether it had a blacklist. A Hong Kong government source said no blacklists existed and it was unreasonable for people to blame the administration when they had trouble entering other jurisdictions.
